OVERVIEW

Gin Rummy is a timeless game that requires skill and strategic thinking. The objective is to arrange your hand into sets and runs while minimizing "deadwood" cards that don't fit into any sets or runs. The game ends when a player reaches the target score, usually 100 points, making it a race to outsmart your opponent and emerge victorious.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Objective: Reduce the number of "deadwood" cards in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Sets are groups of cards with the same rank, such as three 7s.
  • Runs: Runs consist of sequential cards in the same suit, for example, 4, 5, 6 of Hearts.
  1. Scoring:
  • The points of the opponent's remaining deadwood are added to your score.
  • Maximize your points by knocking or "going gin" (having no deadwood).
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or exceed 100 points wins the game.
  • Make sure your opponent doesn't reach 100 points before you do!
